开放性实验室管理与建设初探

  摘要:随着高校教育事业的发展,先进的教学仪器设备的相继引进,现代化教学手段、实验手段的应用,使得实验室管理和建设工作越来越复杂,要求也越来越高。高校电工电子开放性实验室传统的管理体制和模式的改革已成为学校迫切的需要。本文以常熟理工学院开放性实验室为例,首先明确了高校电工电子开放性实验室的常规管理工作,其次对实验室的日常建设进行了阐述,最后提出了电工电子实验室管理的新思路。

  1.Strengthen lab’s general management and improve its control level
  The open laboratory should build a sufficient working rules and regulations, which need to be sticked to observable position. Lab Management includes: the daily keeping, repairing of teaching instrument and equipment, as well as organization, coordination, and service to ensure it go on well and achieve expected effect.
  ⑴Equipment and instrument management
  Most equipment, especially the specialized one, is used with limited time in each year, and is preserved in the storeroom for a long time. Meanwhile, it also has a great variety and function. In the long period of keeping, lab assistant must follow general rules of material control, being careful of setting up account, putting, keeping and repairing, etc.
  ⑵Safety management
  Laboratory is a place to re-appear all natural phenomena and explore its law.It exists unsafe factors, when teachers and students are doing experiments. Therefore whenever we use or keep teaching instrument, all people should raise concern of protecting themselves to ensure their personal security and the country’s property safety.
  ⑶Archives administration
  Lab job is an essential part of school daily operations. On one hand, school checks up each worker at regular intervals; on the other hand, lab assistants’ teaching is different from the teachers who give lessons in class. Teaching equipment is in the process of use and keeping for many years, lab assistants take up jobs of keeping, repairing and continual use as well as preservation of instrument.
  2.Strengthen daily construction of laboratory
  ⑴Plan as a whole, and strengthen the lab’s daily construction
  Lab construction is an important part in the school practice teaching base, which is one of the basic factor to develop a specialized talent of application. Lab construction should closely combine specialized characteristic with the advantages of running a school and make clear of its development’s aims.
  ⑵Main content of lab construction
  Lab program should have clear staged aims and concrete measures to carry them out, starting from the fact, and planning as a whole. According to different teaching content, various labs are built in correspondence with the subjects, such as digital circuit, Analog Circuit, and circuit analysis labs.
  3. New thinking of management model
  In order to form a teaching entity, which is comparatively independent of each subject, and to realize the resource sharing maximization, including human resource, property, substances etc.
  ⑴Personnel management system reform
  The laboratory assistants are all managed by the experiment center, and they should break the limits between majors and subjects so as to be not only skilled at one major but other professions, and adapt to different subjects and work. In terms of amount of work and their achievement appraisal, we need to work out check-up policies and the lab’s opening up timetable.

  ⑵Make the most use of campus network
  Campus network provides a good platform of centralized control and unified opening up model. In support of new lab management system, by means of software technology of computer, we can achieve the goals of that system more easily.
  ⑶Strengthen lab’s data feedback
  The management system automatically counts the data of opening times, use efficiency, equipment and its conditions. Lab assistants can fully know the needs, and give exact reference for further planning and construction of the laboratory, which can avoid the separation between management and construction, and make use of school capital efficiently.
  In conclusion, lab management and construction is a systematic program, which has strong comprehensiveness. It involves a lot, not only education and scientific research, but politics and its level is also an important symbol of lab assistants’ responsibilities, professional level as well as their organizational ability .
